the simple call...... the "check up" for the ones you care..... the surprise visit has vanished..... the racing heart beat has calmed...... the nerves no longer tied in a knot..... the reason to care is gone..... the frown never turned upside down..... the life in a dark alone room, curled in a corner like a left out like a 4 year old...... the tears not of happiness but of uncertainty........ THE HURT THAT SEEMS TO NEVER GO ON VACATION...............
